About

I'm Elina Vessonen - researcher, writer and circus teacher.

I did my PhD at the University of Cambridge, UK (philosophy of science, 2019) and an MA at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, NL (research master, philosophy and economics, 2015).

I've written several academic and non-academic articles (in Finnish and in English) and a non-fiction book on measurement in the human sciences (in Finnish). Here is a list of my publications.

I've trained circus since 1997 and coached for over 15 years. I've performed around the world, developing a repertoire of circus skills which I share online these days. I also teach circus at Circus Helsinki ry.
